Ich habe durch einen guten Freund vor drei Jahren zur Fotografie gefunden und habe meine Fotoausrüstung seither immer dabei, um Aufnahmen zu machen. Die Fotografie ist zu einer richtigen Leidenschaft geworden und hat mich auch schon einige Euro für eine gute Ausrüstung gekostet. Ich fotografiere mit einer digitalen Spiegelreflex und nutze mehrere Objektive, die ich der Qualität wegen aber nur im Fachhandel erwerbe. Bilder von mir waren hier bei uns im Rathaus auch schon im Rahmen einer Fotoausstellung zu sehen und haben meinen Bekanntheitsgrad deutlich steigern können. Ich habe schon mehrere Aufnahmen nach der Ausstellung verkauft und möchte die Fotografie jetzt auch als Nebengewerbe betreiben. Da ich bisher noch keine Webseite hatte, die heute auch unter Hobby-Fotografen zum guten Ton gehört, habe ich mir jetzt eine kleine Homepage erstellen lassen, auf der ich meine besten Arbeiten präsentiere. Di kampung saya dulu ada seorang bidan yang juga tukang perbaiki tulang dan urat kalau kita patah atau terseliuh. Dia ada hubungan darah dengan saya, entah berapa pupu saya tidak tahu. Dia tinggal di hujung kampung, di tepi tebing sungai, berdekatan dengan kawasan paling keras dalam kampung kami – Lubuk Mak Merayap. Kononnya di situ, kalau kita tidak bernasib baik kita akan dapat melihat perempuan tua bongkok tujuh merayap pada waktu senja. Kalau kita lemah semangat, kita akan demam beberapa hari selepas itu. Entahlah saya tidak pernah melihat nenek kebayan itu, mungkin kerana saya seorang penakut dan tidak berani hampir dengan pokok beringin yang besar itu pada waktu hampir maghrib. Dan sebenarnya untuk main perahu atau berakit di waktu siang di situ pun saya berdiri bulu roma. Kerjaya dan lokasi rumah bidan itu menyebabkan agak mengerikan ke rumahnya pada waktu malam kalau kebetulan malam itu tanpa bulan dan angin berdesir melambai pucuk-pucuk buluh di sebelah rumahnya.
